Taekwondo team sparring 2 vs 2
This is a video that is somewhat interesting especially in a competition style. The 2 on 2 sparring may sometimes be conducted during training just to let the students have some variation in sparring but in a competition style is an almost complete different story. Now it looks
like it must have teamwork involve in the sparring instead of the individual games. It may be more exciting when the teamwork is really good seeing the good set of cooperation between the two players.
In the past during training, we use to have 2 on 1 sparring and maybe 2 on 2 sparring. But when you are in a team and when you represent for competitions, it is really just training that focuses on 1 on 1 sparring. If there will be a competition that has team sparring, it may means that there will be more events for Taekwondo and not just individual categories.

I absolutely love this. I would love to see this more in our modern clubs. I feel like it is still traditional sport TKD but with a modern flare. And although I say modern, it resembles all the rival school battles from the old kung fu movies. Training to fight 1v1 is one thing, but 2v2 is a new level.
my only thought, is how do you score it.. it would be a chaotic mess!
