Taekwondo increasing popularity

I come to realise that Taekwondo has become increasingly popular in the US of course some credit will have to go World champions and Olympic Gold medalist from the US that perhaps promote this sport to a greater level. But this has come to my attention that it has become increasingly popular because Taekwondo is being mentioned in the latest blockbuster movie the forbidden kingdom. Though Taekwondo kicks are being demonstrated by the baddy role in the show, Taekwondo is a sport that aims to cultivate good nature but different people always have different perceptions to the use of the art. Though it is more focused as a sport nowadays, its kicks are still the fastest kind after it has been modified and studied through further research. There is a Taekwondo degree in Korea in fact. The power of the kicks are has strong impact if the technique is properly executed. But of course yet again it depends on the person who is using the kicks that have a different effect. The highly trained masters can definitely showed performed better.
