The first women's Olympic Taekwondo Gold medalist

Lauren burns, the olympic gold medalist in the women's below 49kg category is a sensational figure in Australia Taekwondo as well as a motivator that gives her talk to many others. Her perseverance and hard work has managed to put her 
through the final bout against  Cuba's Rodriguez with the score 4-2.

She has been with  the Australia Taekwondo team since 1993 and has won the country's national championships 12 times. She has also won medals at major games such as a bronze in the 1997 world championships, a gold and a silver in the 1999 US Open and 2000 US Open respectively.

Now she gives presentations about how to be successful, sharing her stories and experiences that are relevant to her listeners. She is also a best-selling author for her book "Fighting Spirit". In her workshops, she always gave her listeners a fun and exciting time and have asked people to break some boards as well.
