In fact the most basic combination attack such as the one in this post could be an effective combination. Sometimes when applying the combination, it really depends on many factors that will enable the player to score. Some of these factors include the timing, the opponent's movement and the speed. Many of the combination attacks that will be following up actually derived from this basic combination attack. This attack is actually just a turning kick followed by another turning kick.
However, there are more applications and slight variations in this combination. But now in this post, we will just focus on how to perform the basic two single turning kicks. Take note that to perform this combination and many others, the single turning kick must first be trained properly. The player must twist the hip in when kicking out and the kick must be extended. In sparring tournament, sometimes the strength may not be that important as the main thing is to score. Most importantly it is the technique. After performing the first turning kick, followed up by another as fast as possible to train the stamina and the speed. Now this is the next thing to note, when in sparring however, speed is always an advantage but sometimes controlling it will enable one to score more.
The main thing is to score on the target so when target is not that open for you, no matter how fast you kick, you may not get the required sound for scoring, after kicking the first aim and see when the target is at a better position to create the sound then kick the second one fast to score. Of course sometimes when you have locked on the target, perform this combination attack as fast as possible to score on the target is another way.
