Recent news on Taekwondo at the Sea games

In taekwondo, six gold medals were decided, with Thailand and Vietnam receiving two each.Thailand was best in the welterweights, with Dam Srichan winning the men's and Cassandra Haller the women's. Vietnam's success came through Nguyen Van Hung in the men's heavyweight division and Nguyen Trong Cuong in the men's middleweight final. Indonesia's Kurniasih Palupi Amalia won the women's heavyweight final and Che Chew Chan of Malaysia triumped in the women's middleweights. Thailand has shown that they still are really good at the sport Taekwondo with Vietnam also. Indonesia and Malaysia has showed that they are picking up as they won the other two gold medals each. Malaysia has also won one Taekwondo berth to the Olympic next year.
